INFO
1.
Where can I buy your prints?
Prints
of my art can no longer be purchased through this site but occasionally, I will
list prints for auction on Ebay. Please view Ebay on the main
menu. My member ID on Ebay is Jenga713 and I have 100% feedback rating,
so bid with confidence. I will also be listing prints regularly on Etsy here.
2.
What sizes are available?
Should
I decide to make prints of a particular painting, the size print
available would be determined by the size of the original piece. (Some
paintings are an odd size) Typically though, most of my
prints would be available in 3 sizes; 2.5x3.5, 4x6 and
8.5x11. Should you desire a different size, please email me at jenga@aGothicFantasy.com
to inquire.
COMMISSION
INFO
These
are the terms for my commissions. However, check the home page to find
whether or not commissions are open at the moment. Like everyone else, I
have a busy life and regrettably, am not always available to concentrate
on a piece as much as a commission would require.
I
frequently accept commissions for portraits and custom paintings and
would be happy to consider painting a picture for you. Please note that
I am a fantasy artist and that a majority of my work consists primarily
of gothic and fantasy themes, so any commission you request should fall
into one of these two categories. You should probably look through my artwork
to have a better understanding for my particular style. If, after
perusing my art, you feel that I can accomplish what you would like to
have painted, please email me with your request. I have the right to
refuse a commission for ANY reason I deem fit. I may have a waiting
list, so you should email me for inquiries about time estimates.
Should
you decide to commission me, I require 50% of the commission up
front, so that I might buy the materials needed to create the piece and
as a security deposit. If you need the commission by a certain date,
please make your request at least 3 months in advance. Also, an email
address will be imperative, as I will be contacting you for approval
through this means as the work progresses. Approval will be needed for
the final product. Once completed, the additional 50% of the commission
price, plus, insurance (if desired), will be required
before shipment.

ABOUT
MY ART
1.
What mediums do you work with?
I
work primarily with acrylics, but I will occasionally dabble in oils
when the urge strikes me.
2.
What type of canvas do you use?
For
the most part I work on Fredrix cotton canvas sheets, however, I will
occasionally use watercolor paper, masonite, etc
..
3.
Some of your paintings express a lot of pain, why do you do this? are
you okay?
Am
I okay??? Hahahaha, many would say that I most definitely am not, and I
am no hurry to disagree! LOL
Like
many artists I tend to release emotions through my work. I think this is
an integral part of being an artist. Pain is a part of life, and this is
how I DEAL. When emotions can easily be identified by the viewer, it
makes art more interesting. Every viewer has his or her own unique
experience of life. Thus, making their experience of art unique as
well. I think that if you can make your viewer feel your work, then that
is a great measure of success.
4.
Why
do you use yourself in your art?
Hey,
everyone wants to be a goddess or a vampire or even an angel now and
then. This is MY fantasy land, and if I wish to be a goddess, I say,
Why not? don't like it? Too bad!!! Plus, it helps that I can
take my own reference photos and dont have to acquire a model. Am I
vain? Hardly! But if I have a hankering to see myself with perfect
pantene hair and red eyes then so be it, I'm gonna paint it!
5.
Do you sign all of your paintings?
Yes,
I sign all of them both on the front and the back.
6.
Where can I buy your original paintings?
My
original paintings can be purchased through this website, just look
through my originals section on the menu. I also offer quite a bit
of work through Ebay.
7.
Do you have any other galleries on the internet?
I
have internet galleries at ArtWanted,
Elfwood
, Epilogue,
SheezyArt and Deviant
Art. I occasionally blog at
http://jengaart.livejournal.com/profile feel free to add me if you
are into art.
